Alexa Kreissl and Daniel Kerber’s (Germany/ Düsseldorf)expandable, portable tower with its promise of a scenic view reminds of the anachronistic idea of a telescope. Since their studies in Paris, the couple brings up the subject of contemporary artists’ increasing mobility and that of the implicit force to be mobile. With their usable and portable "travel-objects" they create fixed points at multiple locations. The "telescope tower" offers the opportunity for survey and orientation wherever it will be erected.
